Howard Easley was a Professor in Duke University's Department of Education from 1930 to 1957. He received his B.A. from Union University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from George Peabody College. He also taught at the University of Idaho and the University of Iowa before coming to Duke in 1930 as one of the founding members of the Education Department. He retired in 1957.
